Nearly 100 people will have a chance to see the skeleton of one of Wheeling‘s most historic buildings, before crews remodel it into an apartment building.
The Boury Building in downtown Wheeling has sat vacant for years, but about a year ago the WODA Group decided to save the building and turn it into a place Wheeling residents can utilize.
They are holding a private tour of the building on Saturday .
Officials with the WODA Group say they want the public to see all the work that goes into saving a building, and why it is worth it.
“When you are done with one of these you turn it into a gem. It went from a storage unit to a gem. It will house 72 families and bring this building back to life,” said Dale from the WODA group.
He says he wants people to be in awe when they come back to see the finished product in the fall.
