Police in Wheeling have arrested a woman wanted out of Marshall County on eight active warrants.
Kimberly Ann Strong, 30, of Wheeling, was arrested by Wheeling Police for fleeing from an officer
An official with the Wheeling Police Department says Strong was acting suspicious Monday evening on 18th street. When they approached her to talk, she then started running northbound and took them on a chase. An officer then caught up with her on 16th Street.
According to police, she was wanted on active warrants for Grand Larceny, Nighttime Breaking and Entering, and Possession of a Controlled Substance (six times).
Officers say they found a crack pipe in her purse.
She is being held in the Northern Regional Jail.
