Woman Gets 2 Years for Slicing Husband’s Throat

Judith Jones, who pleaded guilty to slicing her husband’s neck with a knife while he slept, was sentenced Wednesday morning in a Jefferson County courtroom.

Judge Michelle Miller sentenced Jones to two years in prison for felonious assault.

Jones was previously charged with two other counts of felonious assault and an attempted murder charge, but they were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
