The home of WTRF’s Morning Meteorologist Brian Davis was destroyed in a fire about a month ago.

WTRF started a Go Fund Me account for the Davis family the day after the fire and within hours, more than $1,000 was raised.

Over the past month, WTRF viewers have stepped up in a big way, raising more than $10,000 for Brian, his wife Dana, and their three adopted children.

“This has been so heartwarming, and I catch myself every day just feeling thankful to all of the people that have given so much to our family. I never will be able to say thank you enough,” Davis said.

The Go Fund Me account will be closed, but Brian and his family said they are extremely grateful for all of the cards, donations and well wishes they’ve received over the past month.

They have since moved into a new home, and everyone is adjusting well.
