We here at WTRF are pleased to be airing the first ever Weelunk TV Show.
Just in case you’re not familiar with Weelunk, it has become one of the areas’ most popular websites. It deals with stories of Wheeling both past and present.
The creators of Weelunk have partnered with WTRF to bring those stories to you.
The first episode will air this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. on WTRF My Ohio Valley (Comcast Channel 3 or 803 for digital subscribers).
“Everyone in this town, every person every business, every organization in this town has a story to tell. Some of them are history stories some of them are present day stories, things that are going on. There are plenty of stories that we can get out there and uncover little tid-bits of Wheeling life foe everyone to see,” said Jeremy Morris, Director of Site Development for Weelunk.
“Everyone who follows Weelunk knows we have uncovered a lot of iconic stories that never have been covered before. So that’s what you should expect, not only in this first episode but in all of the episodes that follow,” said Steve Novotney.
The first episode will talk about holiday traditions and the stories behind those traditions.
