WWE wrestler injured in Mercer County stabbing

A WWE wrestler was injured after a stabbing in Princeton, West Virginia. 

Deputies with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office said James Gibson, also known on WWE as Jamie Noble, was stabbed twice in the back and hit with a vehicle during a fight with three men. We are told Gibson now works backstage at WWE and was returning home from a wrestling event in Ohio. 

The fight is believed to be linked to road rage. 

The three men ran away from the scene. There is no description of the suspects. 

The three men face charges of attempted murder and malicious wounding.
