You can take your special Valentine out for an evening of dining, dancing and chocolates and help a non-profit agency at the same time.
The RJ Ranch and Riding Center in Jacobsburg, which provides riding lessons to kids with physical and mental challenges, needs to build a new indoor arena.
So they’re holding a Valentine’s Day fundraiser at Oglebay Park’s Wilson Lodge.
The Chocolate Fantasy Dinner and Auction is a romantic evening of gourmet dining and dancing for $100 per ticket.
“There will be hors deuvres, dinner, dancing, and you can also buy your chocolates, your flowers and any gift item for your loved one,” says Julie Larish of the RJ Ranch and Riding Center. “All the money will go to the arena. And it will also pay for any children who can not afford services. It will be donated to them so they can get their services for free.”
You’ll need reservations in advance because you’ll need to choose between three dinner options: New York steak, wild mushroom stuffed chicken or grilled fillet, chicken and lobster.
For more information or to purchase tickets, call RJ Ranch at (740) 686-2989.
It’s on Feb. 14 from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Wilson Lodge Banquet Rooms.
