An organization that’s been in the Ohio Valley helping young people for 45-years is continuing to do just that with a consignment sale this weekend.
This is the second consignment sale the ‘Young Life’ organization has hosted in the Ohio Valley and the purpose is to help young families get rid of their old items and make a little bit of money, meanwhile offering others some gently used items at incredible prices.
There are more than 6,000 items at this sale at the Centre Town Fitness Building in Wheeling, something for the whole family.
“It’s going to be open to the public from 9 to 5 tomorrow (Friday) and then on Saturday we have a half price sale from 10:00 to 2:00, so it’s really just two days and so people need to come out and support Young Life and support young moms and people in the Valley,” said Leslie Underdonker, Committee Chairwoman of Marshall County Young Life.
Thursday night girls with the ‘Young Lives’ program were given vouchers to go and pick out things they need for their children, thanks to a donation.
Organizers said they plan to continue to hold these sales every Spring and Fall.
