Dugan Lloyd joined the WTRF team in June of 2023 as a Sports Anchor/Reporter.
Born and raised in small-town Canton, Connecticut, sports played a major role in Lloyd’s upbringing, both playing and watching. Over his years in CT, he was a multi-sport athlete as a member of the Football, Basketball, Baseball and Lacrosse teams at Canton High School.
Lloyd’s next chapter would take him to a little town called Happy Valley, where he’d pursue a bachelor’s degree at Penn State. Majoring in Broadcast Journalism, he earned a Sports Journalism Certificate from the John Curley Center upon graduating in 2023. In his time there, Lloyd also anchored and reported for the “Centre County Report” and “After The Whistle”. Lloyd also shares the exact same name and looks identical to the pitcher who was named MVP of the 2023 Intramural Fraternity Softball Championship Game…
Dugan’s from a family of five with two younger sisters and two low-IQ dogs. In his spare time, his favorite activities include golfing, boogie-boarding, talking about Connecticut, and sweating out Dallas Cowboys games.
While he will dearly miss Connecticut Pizza and Bagels, he’s very excited to explore the Ohio Valley and experience a new part of the country!
