Logan Ratick

Logan joined the 7News team in October 2018 as a weekday evening news anchor and reporter. This is the Connecticut native’s first job in local television.

Before coming to WTRF, Logan spent two seasons as a Minor League Baseball play-by-play broadcaster, beginning with the Idaho Falls Chukars in 2017. Additionally, he was the voice of the University of Vermont women’s basketball team during the 2017-18 season.

Logan is a proud alumnus of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. Go Orange!

While he was a student at Syracuse, Logan was a play-by-play broadcaster and a sports talk radio host at two radio stations: WAER-FM and WJPZ-FM. In the summer of 2016, he was a member of the broadcast team for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

When he’s not out covering a story or anchoring, Logan enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and playing sports. He enjoys the outdoors, especially beaches, state and national parks, and golf courses.

Logan has enjoyed getting to know the people of the Ohio Valley and telling the stories of this friendly community. He is also a board member for A Special Wish Foundation’s Ohio Valley chapter.
