After what felt like a long, drawn-out winter, it’s time to get outside and enjoy what the Ohio Valley has to offer. Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer.
The 2018 Ohio Valley Summer event guide is finally released and brought to you by Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration and Wheelhouse Creative.
It has every fun activity planned from now until September and covers every event from Hancock county down to Marshall county on both the Ohio and West Virginia side. There are numerous concerts planned whether they’re at Heritage Port, Weirton, or Toronto.
On Monday at Heritage Port, Panhandle was handing out the pamphlets and they’re looking forward to everyone having a fun filled summer. Bob Heldreth, the Marketing Director for Panhandle, said, “It’s very exciting for the city, it’s very exciting for the Ohio Valley.”
If you want to grab one of these brochures in Wheeling, you can check out the visitor’s bureau, Panhandle’s offices in South Wheeling, or other various spots.
Panhandle has also distributed the pamphlets to other towns all across the Ohio Valley.
