Belmont County Cat Stray Shun to hold annual fundraiser

Community

Nearly one year ago, commissioners decided the Belmont County Shelter could no longer accept cats due to an unsustainable overpopulation.

That’s when long-time shelter volunteer Candace Fleagane stepped in.

Now, she needs you help.

On Thursday, July 26th, you can help support the Belmont County Cat Stray Shun; a group dedicated toward caring for and controlling the cat population.

This will be the fourth year for the fundraiser and will include food and gift baskets.

The event will be held on Thursday, July 26th at the St. Clairsville Eagles, at 6:00 p.m.

Prizes include:

  • Five gift card trees
  • 25 gift baskets
  • Door prizes
  • 50-50 raffle

You can call (740) 338-9339 for tickets.
