The Sunrise Rotary Club and St. Clairsville Rotary Club has teamed up with Thomas Auto Center to raise money for the Belmont County Schools Staying Clean Club.
The club works to keep Belmont county students drug free by doing random drug screenings and giving out incentives if they remain clean. The rotary clubs are selling 10 thousand tickets worth $10 dollars each for a chance to win a 4 door Jeep Wrangler with the sales tax already paid off.
Adam Myser, the St. Clairsville Rotary Club President, said, “our incentive is the more money we can raise, the more impact we can make on our local community and really off-set the costs for the drug-free club.” Kirke Porterfield, a St. Clairsville Rotary Club Member, said, “it goes from 7th grade up through high school and they want to take it down to the lower grades, so we can raise enough money they can offer that to the lower kids and keep these kids from getting on drugs in the first place.”
It’s not just for Belmont County residents. Everyone is eligible to win the Jeep.
