Bethlehem Apostolic Temple bringing good spirits to community ahead of Easter

Community

Easter is less than a week away and one local church is stepping up to help those in need.

Bethlehem Apostolic Temple will be hosting “Stuff the Bus” on Thursday, April 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Riesbeck’s in Elm Grove.

Representatives from the temple will be outside collecting donations. Those donations will be used for the annual Easter Food Basket Giveaway this Saturday, April 20.

Dr. D.W. Cummings, the pastor at Bethlehem Apostolic Temple, says that they will accept food, personal grooming items and monetary donations.

“We want to encourage anybody who might be in need, that maybe they’re struggling, maybe they’re working and they still don’t have enough,” said Cummings. “Maybe they’re out of work. Whatever the need may be, you don’t have to prove anything to us. If you say you’re in need, we’re going to do everything we can to help you.”

They will be handing out various items from school supplies to shoes so that hopefully everyone can have a Happy Easter. For more information, you can contact the Bethlehem Apostolic Temple at (304) 233-8899.
