The Brooke High School Dance Team is headed to Disney World!

The Bruins are competing in their second UDA National Dance Team Championship.

But this year, they’re hoping to bring home the title!

Dance members said they’ve been practicing all year and they’re excited to compete in two categories: jazz and hip-hop.

The Bruins will compete against dozens of teams to claim bragging rights.

Dance Team Captain Kacie Harvath said the team is feeling pretty confident.

“We have a really dedicated, hardworking team this year, so there’s no doubt in my mind that we could come home with something,” Harvath said.

“I’m very, very confident going down. I know my girls can do exactly what they’ve trained this whole season to be doing, but I’m just proud of them for being able to compete on this level with all of the incredible teams we’ll be going up against,” added Shelby Mazzone, Dance Team Head Coach.

The Bruins will compete on Saturday with the hopes of making it to the semifinals that night.

Finals will be held on Sunday.

7News wishes them the best of luck!
