Brooke County commissioner heads to Nashville

WELLSBURG, W Va. (WTRF) - Brooke County Commissioner Tim Ennis has left the Valley and he's headed to Music City.

Ennis is attending a conference for the National Association of County Commissioners this weekend.

The four-day event brings in hundreds of commissioners, from across the nation, to discuss policy agenda and share ideas to help improve residents' lives and the efficiency of county government.

"To get out and go see how other counties operate government, I think is going to be really important for me. I'm looking to bring back ideas to Brooke County that hopefully we can use to make Brooke County better," Ennis said.

The NACo Conference and Exposition is held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville.
