Cameron High School and Sherrard Middle School selling flowers and plants

If you are looking for some fresh flowers or garden vegetables for a Mother’s Day gift, Marshall County Schools has you covered.

Cameron High School FFA is selling flowers and other plants they have grown out of their greenhouse.

You can stop by the high school Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to see what they have to offer.

The students have been tending the plants and flowers since January, and they range in price from $1 to about $15.

“We’ve worked countless hours to get ready for the grand opening and make sure everything was tip-top shape. We’re hoping to see more people out for Mother’s Day. Come out and support us,” said FFA Vice President Levi Scott.

Student grown flowers and plants are also for sale at Sherrard Middle School.

Their greenhouse will be open every school day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning May 10.

John Marshall will not be selling plants this year due to greenhouse construction.
