CFOV working to keep college graduates local

Another graduation season has come and gone, leaving many West Virginia graduates wondering: should I stay or should I go?

The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley and its Civic Leadership Fellowship Program aims to convince graduates to stay by showcasing the area’s potential.

Now in its sixth year, the program matches selected students with host organizations and creates paid internship opportunities.

This year’s class of 2018 Civic Leaders includes 14 students from Belmont, Marshall and Ohio counties.

Students work Monday-Thursday at their host sites and spend each Friday at the CFOV office for personal and professional development programming and team building activities.
