DeFelice Brothers Pizza donates over $3,000 to American Heart Association

For more than 30 years, DeFelice Brothers Pizza has shown they have tons of heart in a very fun, unique way.

Each February for Valentine’s Day the company offers heart-shaped pizzas, with $1 from every pie sold going to help the American Heart Association.

This year was no different as they brought in $3,011 for the Association through their heart-shaped pizza sales. The company presented a check to the American Heart Association this past week, with the funds added to the 2019 Ohio Valley Heart Ball’s total.

“We are so fortunate to have a local company that is so dedicated to helping save lives in the Ohio Valley,” said John Rataiczak, Co-Chair for the Heart Ball. “The company has been doing this for 36 years, showing that they truly have heart and want to help their community.”

Thanks to their help, the 2019 Ohio Valley Heart Ball hit a record-setting goal of $100,000.
