Dozens of job-seekers had the chance to meet with potential employers, on Wednesday, at WTRF’s Job and Career Fair in Wintersville.
Job-seekers could meet with more than 30 businesses from across the Ohio Valley representing the health care fields, local industries and local educational opportunities.
Organizers said the day was a success, with dozens of people coming in the doors.
Both they and job seekers believe the event helps in so many ways.
“I think job fairs are excellent for the community. I believe this a great service for people looking for jobs, thinking about changing jobs, thinking about what schooling they might want to go to, so it’s a great thing for all types of people,” said Amy Geddis, job fair participant.
The fair is now over at St. Florian Hall.
