On Wednesday, April 18, the US 250/WV 2 Northbound ramp to I-70 West, near the Wheeling Tunnel, will be closed until 4 a.m. Thursday.
The closure is set to begin at 5:30 Wednesday afternoon.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to wash the Westbound Wheeling Tunnel.
Officials say the alternate route is I-70 East to exit 2A to US 40 West onto I-70 West.
The Market Street ramp to I-70 eastbound will be closed starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday until 4:00 a.m. Friday, so that crews can was the Eastbound tunnel.
The alternate route, from the intersection of Market Street and 10th Street is to continue onto US 40 East to East on Mt. deChantal Road to I-70 East on-ramp.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
