WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) - Wheeling firefighters joined forces with Wheeling's Waterfront Wednesdays to raise money for the Augusta Levy Learning Center following the fire that destroyed their facility in early July.
Firefighters held a Fill the Boot drive throughout the evening's activities.
There was even a dunk tank at Heritage Port with local celebrities, including 7News reporter Taylor Long and 7Sports reporter Caroline Peters.
The evening wrapped up with a free concert by Hit Play.
Thanks to the community's generosity, $2,902 will go to Augusta Levy.
