People taking part in the up-coming Show of Hands event met with organizers on Friday to work out last minute details.
They had the opportunity to go over their presentations and ask questions.
Show of Hands is a fundraiser where audience members are presented with projects that would have a positive impact on the community.
The crowd then votes on their favorite presenter.
All money raised goes to the project with the most votes.
All presenters are opening businesses in Wheeling.
Project Manager, Wheeling Heritage, Alex Weld said, “From a t-shirt company to a coffee shop to a barber to a baker. So some really cool presenter. I don’t think you could go wrong with whoever you vote for.”
Owner, Wheeling Threads, Daniel Finsley said, “Just an opportunity to be a part of something so amazing in the City is incredible. Didn’t see it coming and just happy to have this chance to push my business.”
The event takes place next Wednesday on the 3rd floor of the Wheeling Artisan Center.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with presentations stating at 6:30 p.m..
