Since 1928, the Harlem Globetrotters have provided family fun to millions of people.
In just over nine decades, the exhibition team has played more than 26,000 games in 123 countries.
On Tuesday night, the Globetrotters took on their arch-rivals, the Washington Generals, at WesBanco Arena in downtown Wheeling.
For some young fans, it was their first time seeing the Globetrotters in person, and they were no less than thrilled to take in the game. They shared with 7News what excited them the most.
“Getting my basketball signed,” was the request of one young fan named Liam.
“Just to watch and see them play,” was the only thing that young Globetrotters fan Rocky wanted.
Tuesday night’s Globetrotters’ halftime show was performed by the dancers of Take A Bow Dance Centre in Moundsville.
