Grand Vue Park and Marshall County Schools offer summer camp

Community

Grand Vue Park and Marshall County Schools have teamed up for another year of Grand Adventure Leadership Camp!

Certified teachers and volunteers lead campers through activities that focus on physical fitness, leadership, STEM, and the arts.

Any child ages five through 12 can attend, not just those from Marshall County.

The camp lasts seven weeks, with each week having its own theme.

Camp Director Wendy Clutter says the children gain practical skills as well as social skills.

“All of our West Virginia content standards we try to hit throughout the summer. Every day there’s something that we don’t expect that has happened,” said Clutter.

Children can register on a week-to-week basis.

Just give Grand Vue Park a call at 304-845-9810 to sign up.

The camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the next six weeks.
