Harrison County will offer two days of prescription drug take backs

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will be held on Saturday, April 28th.

Harrison County will offer two days of take backs with the first being Saturday, April 21st.

Three locations will accept any unwanted, unneeded, or expired prescription drugs for safe disposal. 

You can can drop off your unwanted drugs at Custer Pharmacy and Rite Aid Pharmacy in Cadiz from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Harrison County Sheriff Joe Myers said it’s very important to get involved. 

At the last three take-back events, officials have collected over 380 pounds of unwanted or expired drugs.
