If you’re looking for plans this Saturday, consider helping one Ohio Valley man raise money for a new heart.
According to family members, Follansbee native Sam McQuillian has battled heart problems for years.
At just 50 years old, doctors said his heart is failing.
Family told 7News that Sam is currently on the waiting list for a new heart, but if something goes wrong, doctors warned Sam he would only have minutes to live.
That’s why family members are holding a spaghetti dinner to help.
They would love it if you came.
“Please come out and show some support. We’re going to have The Buffington Brothers there live to entertain you. There will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffles, and other things going on. Come out, show support and have some spaghetti,” said Chrissy Carbasho, Sam’s niece.
The fundraiser is on Saturday, April 21st from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m at the Windsor Heights Volunteer Fire Department.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 10 and under.
