Saturday was all about first responders in Marshall County.
Residents had the chance to meet local emergency personnel during the first Marshall County First Responders Community Day.
Police, EMS, fire departments and flight crews had their equipment on display to share more about their jobs with visitors.
The event took place at John Marshall High School and dozens of people came out to enjoy games, inflatables and local vendors as well.
“It’s gone really well actually,” said Marshall County first responder Allicia Wade who helped to organize the day. “We had several hundred in attendance. It’s been great having all these first responders out here to celebrate with us and all the community it’s been a really good showing.”
Wade said she had a lot of positive response and hopes that Marshall County First Responders Community Day can continue next year.
