West Virginia Association of Museums held a workshop Saturday, April 14th at 9 a.m. for anyone interested in learning about 20th century military artifacts at the Weirton Museum and Cultural Center.

This was a hands on experience and attendees were welcome to bring in their own artifacts to learn along side with the leader.

Many museums and historical sites are planning commemorative events and exhibits around their military objects due to the 100th anniversary of the First World War upon us.

The leader of this event is Weirton native, Paul Zuros.
