Inaugural “Poker Run to Block Out Child Abuse”

If you are looking to take advantage of the nice weather this weekend, you can do so and help children affected by child abuse.

This Saturday, April 6, H&R Block will be holding its inaugural poker run to Block out Child Abuse.

“Anyone that owns a motorcycle needs to come out to join in the festivities to raise money for children,” said H&R Block Manager Melody Carpenter.

The run will start at two H&R Block offices, in Parkersburg and Moundsville, and end at the Elm Grove office.

The first bike out is at 11:00 a.m. with the last bike in at 6:00 p.m. Riders will stop at six H&R Block offices across the Ohio Valley.  The cost is ten dollars $10 for singles and $15 dollars for doubles.
