What is LOVE?? That’s simple.
LOVE stands for Local Ohio Valley Experience: the Ohio Valley’s first online entertainment channel.
“We are loving the OV. We are sharing the love. We are getting other people to be positive not only about their personal situations and places in the Valley but also about their neighbors and surroundings,” explained LOVE OV host Mikey Allen.
All of that is made possible through the LOVE OV Facebook page. On the page, you can check out local businesses, places, people and even share your thoughts.
Want to see Wheeling City Council in an eating challenge? Make a suggestion.
You’d like to get to know our local sports teams better? Ask about it.
“This medium enables people to have a say and a voice about what they’re seeing,” Allen continued. “What do you want to see coming up? What do you think did or didn’t work? Maybe mention how they feel about me and how they feel about businesses. It’s about connecting people with other people.”
One of those connections is with the West Virginia RoughRiders. As the newest neighbors in the Valley, the RoughRiders said partnering with LOVE OV was a no brainier for them.
“It seemed to make us a big part of the community,” said West Virginia RoughRiders Marketing Director Jesse Heninger. “We’re definitely looking to prove ourselves every day not only to entertain the fans but to truly support them.”
If you’re interested, you can follow and like the LOVE OV Facebook page to enjoy the Local Ohio Valley Experience.
The first episode airs *online* Friday at 1:00 p.m.
We don’t want to give too much away, but you don’t want to miss LOVE OV host Mikey Allen race Mountaineer alumni Noel Devine.
