Monday marked the final meeting for James “Jim” Andreozzi as he steps away from his position as Brooke County Commissioner.
During the Christmas Eve meeting, some of his constituents and fellow commissioners had the chance to say goodbye.
They thanked him for all of his hard work and dedication to Brooke County and its residents.
To make the meeting extra special, Andreozzi’s wife and daughter both surprised him by attending.
Before his final commission meeting ended, Andreozzi said a few words.
“I gotta tell you, I love this county and I love the people in it. They’re generous and hardworking. The road map is laid for this county to be very, very successful in the next couple of years. God bless everybody and thank you so much. I love you all,” Andreozzi said.
Wellsburg attorney A.J. Thomas will take Andreozzi’s place starting in January.
