It’s been a hectic scene at WesBanco Arena ever since the announcement was made earlier this week that President Trump will be paying a visit to the Friendly City.

Arena officials have been busy making plans and working out details for the President’s appearance on Saturday.

Executive Director Denny Magruder said that while he can’t give out any information on those details, he does say it’s an exciting time for both the arena and the City.

WesBanco Arena, Executive Director, Denny Magruder, said, ” When the President comes that’s a big deal for any arena. I don’t care if it’s in a major city, secondary market, us, whomever. So it’s a big deal. We are pretty proud of the arena. You know, you helped us out with a lot of things. There have been a lot of different folks at the Arena. Everything from Presidents to indoor football, to professional hockey players. We developed a lot of those, to major artists. So it’s something that makes the effort complete. The employees look forward to it, the community. It’s good for the media. We are going to be the focus of news come Saturday night.”

Of course, the arena is no stranger to Presidential visits.

Former President George W. Bush made a campaign stop back in 2004.
