Friday’s high winds combined with the dry land made conditions perfect as multiple brush fires broke out earlier this evening in Fulton and North Park.
Crews are still on scene and the fire is said to be smouldering.
This all happened as the Ohio Valley was under a Red Flag Warning.
According to the weather service, that means conditions are ideal for wild fire combustion.
Those conditions include low humidity, erratic or high winds and possible lightning.
It creates a high danger of fire with increased probability of quickly spreading flames.
