Sunday is Earth Day, and nature-lovers are celebrating with guided hikes at Oglebay Park.
The first scenic hike began at the Schrader Center at 8:30 a.m. and wound through the trails of Oglebay.
Hikers could see wildflowers in bloom, birds, animal tracks, and more.
An afternoon hike is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. beginning at Bear Rocks Lake Wildlife Management Area, which is just minutes from Wheeling in Ohio County.
Hikers will be guided by a naturalist who promises a mild pace.
Each hike is $5 to participate and is free for OI members.
