Celebrations are well underway at Oglebay Park in honor if its 90th birthday!
Earlier Saturday morning runners and walkers raced along the Susan Wheeler Arboretum Trails for a 5-K.
Afterwards there were plenty of fun activities including tours of the mansion museum that included a special “A Farm Becomes A Park” exhibit.
A fishing tournament, segway tours, mini-golf tournament, tours of the Good Zoo and much more continued throughout the day.
If you missed the fun don’t worry, it continues on Saturday night with music and fireworks as well as Sunday with another full schedule of celebrations for visitors.
Oglebay Executive Vice President, Rodney Haley said, “We’ll have inflatables and you know clowns and things like that and then we’ll have an official birthday cake cutting down at the lake. Followed by bands on the lake starting at 6 and then fireworks at dusk.”
90 is a big birthday so Oglebay Park is celebrating all summer long with special discounts until Labor Day.
