Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness helps out patients in need

Community

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month 7News found out what Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness does for the people who are going through treatment and how they help the community.

As a Breast Cancer Survivor herself, Kathy Blass said through her experiences she realized the need in the Ohio Valley for breast cancer patients.

Some of the products that are provided are Camisoles, Dignity Robes, and other products for their Strength for Life Program.

“The products that we provide for the Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors  is important to me. As I’ve said I’ve gone through a lot. I’ve gone through a lot of the trials that you go through and Women shouldn’t have to do this alone,” said Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness, Kathy Blass. “They should not have to go through the Breast Cancer process alone and the journey and we want to at least provide them with some small gift so that will help them get through this journey of Breast Cancer.”

They also have an event coming up on Friday called Driving Fore a Cure Golf Classic
