Sunday, April 8th marks the Great and Holy Feast of Pascha when Orthodox Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the center of the Orthodox Christian faith. 

Pascha normally falls one to five weeks later than Easter as observed by Christians.
