October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and fundraisers are being held all month across the Ohio Valley.

One of them will be the first annual Pink Steps Rally at Warwood Middle School Saturday October 20th from 10 AM to 2 PM.

This was originally suppose to be at Heritage Port, but it was moved to Warwood Middle’s auditorium due to the impeding weather.

This will be a walk, and it will benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be food and entertainment, and it’s open to the public.

Event organizer Brady Medovic explains how the event will run. “We will be walking for about a half hour just to raise awareness and we will also have some small business vendors there. We want to honor our breast cancer survivors in the community and remember those we lost to the terrible disease.”

The cost is $25 per walker.

If you like more information, you can call Brady at 304-280-1151.
