The Pittsburgh Steelers Basketballers are staying busy in the off season as some of the team is heading to Wheeling Park High School Friday night for a charity game to benefit Relay for Life.
During the annual event, the football pros take on the Relay for Life All-Stars on the court.
The doors open at 4 p.m. and there are some smaller games before the Steelers take the court at 8 p.m.
The WVU dance team will perform before the game starts, and the Steelers will sign autographs at halftime.
Bill Seabright is the game coordinator and a cancer survivor, so the event is near and dear to his heart.
“Hopefully we can get more research done and maybe one of these days cure cancer. It’s a horrible disease,” said Seabright.
Tickets are $7 each and they can be purchased in advance at Wheeling Park High School, or at the door the night of the event.
There will also be entertainment, a 50/50 raffle, and other raffles as a part of the fundraiser.
