Thousands of people are without power following severe storms on Thursday evening. Everyone is expected to be restored by 2 a.m. Friday. 

APPALACHIAN POWER: 

  • North End of Wheeling Island – 687 customers – est. restoration 10 p.m.
  • Fulton area – 56 customers – est. restoration 12 a.m.
  • Woodsdale – 7 customers – est. restoration 1 a.m.
  • Washington Avenue area – 27 customers – est. restoration 12:30 a.m.
  • Arlington Dr., Whipple Dr., – 31 customers – est. restoration 12 a.m.
  • Elm Grove – 812 customers – est. restoration 12 a.m.
  • Stone Church – 66 customers – est. restoration 12:30 a.m.
  • Hideaway Dr. – 24 customers – est. restoration 12 a.m.
  • Middle Wheeling Creek – 24 customers – est. restoration 12 a.m.
  • Clearview – 177 customers – est. restoration 11:30 p.m.
  • Clinton – 81 customers – est. restoration 12 a.m.

A flood advisory will remain in effect until 8:00 p.m. for much of the Ohio Valley, and a flash flood watch remains in effect until midnight for the entire Ohio Valley.
