“Presidential Alert” TEST messages will go out Wednesday afternoon

The West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management are joining up with FEMA, the FCC, and wireless carriers to conduct a test assessing the capabilities of the Emergency Alert System and the Wireless Emergency Alert Wednesay.

These alerts will go out to cell phones titled “Presidential Alert”.

You’ll get these alerts on your phone at 2:18 p.m. and then 2:20 p.m.
