Orrick is teaming up with the City of Wheeling and Ohio Valley Pride for the second year in a row to help make the community a little more beautiful.
Pride in Wheeling Day will be held Friday, June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..
Volunteers will paint the bathrooms and a community mural at the Nelson Jordan Center, clean and cover the graffiti at the Mount Wood Overlook, and clean and paint at Tunnel Green.
The goal is to raise awareness for LGBTQ issues and beautify community spaces.
“We saw this as our opportunity to really give back to the community and show that diversity and inclusiveness really help benefit anyone involved. No matter how different we are, we can all unify under the same goal,” said Mike Disotell, an attorney with Orrick.
All community members are encouraged to volunteer or help out in any way they can.
If you would like to sign up to volunteer, you can email Mike at MDisotell@Orrick.com, or just come to the Nelson Jordan Center, Mount Wood Overlook, or Tunnel Green between 10:00 and 4:00 on Friday.
