There’s no announcement yet, or even a projected date for an announcement, but PTTGC spokesman Dan Williamson says PTTGC “remains as committed as ever” to the project.
Right now, Williamson says they are in the process of choosing an Engineering, Procurement and Construction partner.
He says the EPC partner is the person or group that provides “boots on the ground” in getting the project built, but Williamson says he has no idea of the timeline for the actual decision of whether or not it will be built in Belmont County.
Asked why so it has been delayed so long, Williamson said there are always complications in any project of this magnitude.
“There are so many unknowns with this type of thing, that you can set timetables but you have to recognize that things will change.” he noted.
But, he said, PTTGC remains as committed as ever to the project.
