Speaking of cold temperatures, it’s important that if you’re going to be outside you need to make sure your skin is protected from the elements.

Retail Marketing Manager, Bud Forte gave some advice on how to stay warm and protected from this cold weather.

He said layering is the key.

If you layer properly, you can do just about anything in the subzero temperatures.

Forte said, “Yesterday, I was out on the Ohio River duck hunting, before daylight in the morning and it was probably two or three degrees and with an adequate system of laying you stay warm.”

If you’re not dressed properly during these bitterly cold days, you could be leaving yourself wide open to frostbite, which in severe cases could lead to amputation of the affected areas.
