A museum in Pittsburgh not only keeps memorabilia of Roberto Clemente, but also helps carry on his legacy.
Clemente was not only known for his talent on the baseball field, but also for the many ways he gave back to the community.
Now The Clemente Museum looks to give back in different ways.
Its owner hosts fundraisers at the location and invites current players to host different events there as well.
There is always one important thing the museum remembers before doing anything
“We ask ourselves everyday what would Clemente do?” said Duane Rieder, Executive Director of The Clemente Museum. “Is this what Roberto would want? Lets do this. We do a lot for children and the handicap.”
The Clemente Museum is located at 3339 Penn Avenue in the Strip District of Pittsburgh.
