Wheeling Jesuit graduates nearly 300 students


Wheeling Jesuit University held its 60th Commencement exercises on Saturday in the McDonough Center.

WJU President, Dr. Debra Townsley conferred undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees to nearly 300 graduates during the ceremony.

The author of the Heroic Leadership and the recently released book, Make Today Matter: 10 Habits for a Better Life (and World), Chris Lowney served as the commencement speaker and received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letter.

Athletic Training major and member of the WJU Volleyball team, Abigail Moffit was the Valedictorian of the Class of 2018.
