With more winter weather and freezing temperatures on the horizon, people need to keep their car weather ready.
Josh Nicol is a salesperson at Ferguson Tire Pros in Weirton and said there are plenty of ways people can keep their car up to date when bracing the winter weather.
He said making sure your tires are checked for the winter months is very important, especially keeping an eye on the tire pressure and making sure the tread depth is good.
Another thing Nicol mentioned is making sure your headlights are cleaned and working properly.
“You’ll want to check all of your fluids in your vehicle,” he continued. “Especially your washer fluid. Make sure your anti-freeze is up to date and at a full level.”
Nicol also advised to have warm clothes, water and a flashlight in your vehicle if you’re traveling a long distance.
