This weekend and early next week will bring three very different productions to Wheeling’s historic Capitol Theatre.
Friday night will be the final time to see Maestro Andre Raphel conducting the Wheeling Symphony. Raphel is leaving the symphony after 15 seasons. It’s the fourth Masterworks show of the season and tickets are still available.
On Saturday evening, country legend Lionel Cartwright will take the stage, in a very unusual setting.
“And we’re calling it a stage door concert. And why it’s a stage door concert is because the audience will enter via the stage door. The show will be on stage. The audience is going to be seated on stage, very intimate, about 250 people. Lionel will be seated amongst them. The backdrop will be the seating area of the theater. So a little bit different,” said Greater Wheeling Sports and Entertainment Authority Executive Director, Denny Magruder.
Tickets are still available for that also.
On Monday, will be the final Broadway production of the season, Cabaret.
Tickets can be purchased at the WesBanco Arena Box Office or online.
