NES Classic to return to stores in June

REDMOND, WA (WCMH) — Nintendo says it will re-release the popular NES Classic next month.

According to a tweet by Nintendo of America, on June 29, the NES Classic Edition console will be back in stores.

The tweet also says that the system is expected to be available through the end of the year.

The NES Classic was first released in 2016 and featured 30 pre-loaded games like “Super Mario Bros” and “Donkey Kong.”

However, at $60, the console proved to be extremely popular and was difficult for consumers to find.

Nintendo also announced the SNES Classic Edition will be available through the end of the year as well, according to CNBC.
